Default How's that Arab Spring working for ya?

The new Lybia imprisoned a diplomat to France and tortured him to death. They said he had cuts on his feet, several toenails missing and broken ribs.

Egypt, a long time American ally has decided to put 19 Americans on trial for daring to fund a non-profit organization. We helped Egypt get rid of it's government saying the people were being denied human rights.

The non-profit group is a human rights organization.

The people we are "helping" are going to be worse that the regimes we helped bring down.

Is the point you are trying to make "let's start minding our own business and vote for Ron Paul"?

If only there was anybody that could do a better job. Sadly, Americans must run America...so...it'll probably stay pretty much the way it is. And the collective America says, "Oops, my bad."

As for voting preferences, I once had a kid in Florida scam me out of 36 bucks, while wearing a Ron Paul sticker on his jacket. Fool me once...

If Ron Paul is the one who will get us out and keep us out of these messes, why not? Everyone else seems to be a shill for ever expansive government.

Never trust a man whose surname is also a first name.

For the record, it wasn't me. It's been a terribly long time since anyone would mistake me for a kid and I've never been a fan of Dr. Paul. He does great until you start him talking about foreign policy then he goes WAY off the deep end.

I've got a better one. Never trust a man whose surname has a definition ranking at the top of the search engines.

So, I was wrong after all, I guess this thread is just your garden variety hypocrisy.

And that is what it is all about. Stacking the deck for those who put these people in power. I prefer the T Roosevelt method, "Walk softly and carry a big stick." All of our interference is going to bite us in the butt one of these days, big time.
