This might have been her finest moment:

Her lowest was the day she met Bobby Brown. Sad to see such an enormous talent self-destruct like that, whatever the cause of her death.

Sad, but I think not surprizing.

Every time I feel bad about not being rich or famous I look at the life expectancy of a lot of them. I have already outlived quite a few.

It's one thing to be rich. I think I could handle that.
Being famous is quite another. It takes strong shoulders to carry that burden and not become insane, deluded, arrogant, or lose control. Very few seem to be able to handle that.

I suppose we will now have weeks of media dissection of her life, who supplied the drugs, what a tormented life she had ,blah,blah. Add her to the list along side the Michael Jackson's, and Amy Winehouse's, the real tragedy's are talents like Eva Cassidy who was robbed of her life by cancer, nature is cruel enough without assisting it with illicit chemicals, and booze.

What many people don't realize and will never understand is when you get into a certain league you are not a person anymore. You become a product and a commodity and a source of income for many. You are controlled by various handlers and managers and you lose you privacy and identity and are under constant pressure.

Few can handle that sort of life and treatment and the results can be seen all the time.

She is just another who has fallen by the wayside.
