    Very cool! That's how a lot of the original tartans were made...the Scots had to make do. Welcome to SRP, by the way! If you have questions about straight razor shaving (or anything else it seems) you can get advice here from some of the best!

    Ain't it a small world? My mother is also a Johnston. Her father, my gran. says they trace his father back to Johnston/e, I suspect through Ireland first. Well now it is time for my wedding, actually May of 2008, and I have decided to purchase my first kilt for the occasion.
