Angry You ain't gonna believe it !

Some of you may know I recently started a new job, middle of August actually after having been made redundant when my old company closed their offices.

Well today my new employer went under, so I join the queue of the unemployed. Oh joy.

    Couldn't pick a better time...not.

I have no good news yet. But I'll keep you posted.

In the meantime if you want scales, send me work as I have plenty of time and need the dosh.

    Cheers all.

    Gary,

Sorry to hear this! Maybe you could offer scales with a matching fountain pen! That would be a neat combination. Shave, and then record it for posterity! Best of luck in your search for work!

Good attitude. I'm a firm believer that things always work out for the best, although sometimes it is hard to understand at the present time. I'd vote for a forum Fountain Pen, that you could construct and build!

I too am sorry to hear about this.

I might be nterested in RT's idea as I use fountain pens.

Gary, that certainly sucks but hang in there. Focus on job searching and to keep up the spirit work on razors. Whatever happens happens for better, in the long run. It is the short run that is a PITA.

Thanks all for your good wishes and words of encouragement.

btw I don't make fountain pens. I collect them, sorry. If I were to make pens they would be expensive as for me the best part of the pen is the nib and I would only use high quality bock nibs $$$$$.

I will be restoring a few razors though and adding some nice scales. Hopefully I shall have some NOS blades soon as well.

    Cheers

    Gary
