Wow, it's been a while since I've been told I was wrong so many times in one day. Justified or not, I do believe that Zimmerman showed negligance when he left his vehicle and followed him. He already had a description of Martin and the police were called.

All I'm gonna say is that there's been way to much hype about this case and the media has done a find job of distorting the facts to suit their own narrative. From what I've heard thus far, I'd say that Zimmerman was walking back to his vehicle when he was jumped and severely beaten. I'd also say he shot this kid in self defense and judging from what eye witnesses have said Treyvon was on top of Zimmerman beating the snot out of him MMA style. I don't see the mainstream media being very vocal about the fact that the autopsy revealed the shot came from 6-18 inches away or that Treyvon had THC in his system (doesn't fit their narrative apparently.) I guess we'll see what we see but when Alan Durschewitz says the prosecution doesn't have much of a case. I'd say that's significant. I just hope Zimmerman can get a fair trial (regardless of the outcome) and all the hype and grandstanding doesn't create this alternate version of the truth (that isn't the truth at all.) For lots of folks, even some members of congress, this seems to have already occured.

I don't know how their neighborhood watch works there, but here, in the watch group I am in, our responsibility is to call the police to report suspicious activity, provide a description and nothing more. We don't put ourselves in danger unless we absolutely have to.

All the more reason not to follow him on foot.

You mean maybe Zimmerman stole his skittles and sent him into a munchie induced rage?

Are you also armed and ready to use deadly force,if so why?to protect what? property? drug dealings within the hood?
What constitutes in your roll the need to kill someone?

I don't go out armed. I also know better than to purposely put myself in a situation where I could find myself injured/dead or injure/kill another person. I do carry pepper spray just in case, but only plan to use it as a last resort to give myself time to escape.
