for something as simple as sharpening a pencil....I, wait no, i want that time back I took reading that article lol. Technically, I've been a pencil-sharpening artisan since the young age of 6!

i can understand an artist being particular about their pencils, both the brand/model (which is of great importance to some artists and writters), and the quality of its point.

i think for the speed at which a pencil dulls sharpening a pencil is a skill that every artist/writer should learn for themselves.

im still not sure if it is a joke or not, but maybe it should be taken as such.

He only charges $15 to sharpen a pencil? How does this man make a living. Everyone I know charges $25 a piece and are still nearly starving.

No ,no that's the special Jason Bourne style. The point is meant to break off in your attacker & give them a nasty infection.

Had trouble with this last night. Took it too far "the Devils Dance", and the tip broke off. Going to give it another try today, too emotionally draining.

the part that got me (as if their weren't many), was how his clients request the use of the single blade pocket sharpener. How does one go about finding clients for this type of "skill"? Furthermore, who are these clients?!
