    Default Florida Voters?

Florida is presently purging it's voter lists. They are comparing their registered voters lists to their drivers license records and removing dead people and ineligible voters. It is my understanding that this is perfectly within the law and being properly handled.

They have been ordered to stop by the Federal Department of Injustice. Florida is being accused of violating the Voting Rights Act.

How is removing ineligible people a violation?

Florida is an important swing state in the coming elections. Is it possible the Feds want to let non-citizens and dead people vote?

Would you want illegal aliens voting in your state? We know there is widespread election fraud. Going to all electronic voting as most states are doing makes us much more vulnerable to fraud as well.

    ahh crotalus, at it again...
so the republicans are worried the dems want a bunch of dead people and illegals to be able to vote, the dems are worried the republicans will accidentally leave out a chunk of voters in swing districts "oh, you're alive?! i could have sworn you were dead...oopsy!". it seems to me both sides will be watching the other so closely it's kind of a non-issue.

and regarding your stalin quote, it seems the people who decide who is allowed to vote would probably be pretty high up on the power chain as well...and they should all be watched closely, which is what both sides are now doing.

In all seriousness, is it possible that the state of Florida was using this as a way to get rid of legal, still alive voters. It wouldn't be the first time a state tried it and I'm certain it won't be the last.

Why do the Democrats fight ANY kind of voter ID? In Texas we have been blocked from requiring a drivers license, or any kind of ID to vote.

They have been allowing people who bring in an ELECTRICITY BILL to vote. What the heck kind of ID is that?

The Democrats assume illegal aliens will vote for them, so they want to give the illegals every chance they can.

The issue isn't with letting ineligible people vote, the issue is with those determining who is eligible and ineligible. Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act outlines that there needs to be a preclearance procedure before any changes can be made to voting qualification in certain Florida counties, and that is DOJ's defense.

Your "understanding" is faulty. Florida is in violation of the Voting Rights Act because they botched the timing of the process.

What is their rational for blocking ID's in Texas?
