Thread: Rumsfeld is homeless

I was walking out of the NMCC today and I have to walk by rumsfelds office to get back to B ring. I walked by and got pulled into an issue because Gates' transition team was in Rumsfelds old office was telling rumsfelds assistant to get out, and I am basically quoting lol. It turns out rumseld was already in the process of moving into another office, but his "assistant" who is a general asked where she was supposed to go, and Gates' team said we dont care, but just get out of here, now. So while rumsfeld will stay on as an advisor for a year or so from what I understand, they certainly wasted no time moving in...which I find a little disturbing since Gates hasnt been confirmed yet, I guess they are damn confident.

On the plus side, I did pick up the hats for the hat trade and had great ice cream....the pentagon has the best baskin and robbins anywhere...I dont know what they do but its just perfect.

For the amount of taxes the government steals from me each year, the ice cream ought to be perfect

Oh it is...they keep it at the perfect temperature so its not to soft but not hard either...and they have these really cool flavors...oh its just heavenly. Your taxes are so high because the important people have private catering lol....bush doesnt stop in and have baskin and robbins lol.

You want to feel REALLY bad about tax dollars...

At Al Asad (and, incidentally Camp Fallujah...maybe more, these are the only two I know of) there is a little Indian fellow at the chow hall whose only duty is to dole out Baskin-Robbins ice cream in one of several delicious flavors. There are only 5 or 6, though, so it's not /quite/ as good as in the states...

Ridiculous.
