No it wasnt a joke, but it also wasnt worded very well. Over the past several hundred years the church has invaded countries and converted people against their will all in the name of god. Bloodshed and killing was accepted in order to further the church's cause, but I never remember anything very positive about sex being discussed, just many negative aspects of sexuality were brought to light and sexual feelings were repressed. That was my point, not that anyone actually likes war.

Well, I got a few minutes to play and googled an answer of sorts.
