You make excellent points. For example, it is a violation of the Federal Code for American citizens to purchase or consume Cuban-made goods (i.e. cigars) while outside the jurisdiction of the United States of America. that being said, I'd love to see the Maine State Police roll into Quebec and attempt to arrest American citizens puffing on Monte Cristos!

You know that there are only two countries that tax their citizens outside of their own boarder’s right? America is one of them. If say the Canadian tax rate was less than the states, then America would ask for the difference. No demand it lol. Main State Police might not roll into Quebec and arrest buddy for smoking a Cuban, but take my word for it - the IRS will come collect were you paying a lesser marginal tax rate than home lol!

Sorry - couldn't help but pipe in on that lol.

    Bahahahaha!

Joke - you are stuck on an island. What are the two organizations most likely to find you?

Yeah, but the Mormons will still trace your ancestry.

So back to it - Thank you for the idea - I am hoping/kind of doubting this will ever be an issue for me though lol.

Anyway I think you might be wrong on this issue - no disrespect as I COULD BE WRONG LOL ; )... He/she isn't falsifying anything - they are just not telling you everything - you know?

The "other" is a lawyer (I wish she was home so I could banter the issue with her - but alas she's teaching in some foreign country - sigh) , and she states that it is indeed law... Whatever that means lol!

Omission is still a lie, i.e. not providing truthful and accurate information.

I spent most of my life in locker rooms where humour knows no bounds. I've done this all the way on 20-hour bus-rides.
