    Default Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I get this great patch I really wanted...to put onto a blank flex fit hat:

Well I got a blank flex fit hat, and proceeded to sew this patch on...well each time it wasnt quite level...so after 5 attempts and probably around 80 feet for thread, and stabbing myself in the fingers around 20 times I finally get it level.

So then I notice through my sewing I have moved some threads in the letters out of place from my needle poking through while trying to figure out where my needle was under the patch. Well I get the brilliant idea to use a lighter to melt the thread together so it doesnt start coming un done....and the patch sort of half melted and half burnt all to hell. So now my new hat and patch look like something that went through a 3 alarm fire, and no...it doesnt give it character!!!

Im so damn pissed off grrr...even if I order another patch I cant deal with sewing the edamn thing on....and of course they dont make the patch in an iron on version...

    AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Some men don't compromise on the quality of sewing and ask a lady friend to do it for them....

Or, you know, just take hat and patch to the local tailor/dry cleaner and pay them $5 or so to do it. It'll take all of about 10 seconds with a sewing machine.

It is a cool patch, though, Josh.

Next time remember the old saying: Measure twice -- sew once

I measured like 10 tims its really hard to sew it onto a non flat survace evenly.

I dont know any women who sew....but I didnt think about that whole having a tailor do it lol....perhaps I'll try that!

    Josh,

Get to know one or two! You may have a few things in common! Sewing is fast becoming a skill of the olden days like straight razor shaving is.

    1) Keep your needle out of their pin-cushions
    2) Establish a platonic friendship with'em
