Thanked: 4826Well Carl, not a fan of that coat, however as long as you meet the dress code, two thumbs up. I have to wear a uniform so I'm not sure what I would wear if I had to dress up a little.

Old picture. Vietnam 1966. I am on the left and was 20 years old. This was a pathfinder demo for some artillery batteries showing them prep for slingloading 105 howitzer cannisters to ready for hookup to a Chinook CH-47. Of course out in the bush during actual operations everything was tossed into cargo nets (rounds and powder bags) and moved as fast as humanly possible.
The howitzer would be suspended off the hook of the chinook and the ammo net would sling below that.
