Just a little North. That buck was a monster. Game warden put at 190+ point rack, the beast hung at 240 pounds, I got 170 pounds of meat out of it, it was more like a Montana mule deer than an Ohio white tail. The photo does not do it justice, the masts were so big I could not put my fingers around them, got a better photo somewhere, have to dig it up and post. The Tom was 22 pounds and almost a 12 inch beard, had big spurs as well. I have been doing this for a few years.

Alright you guys, thats enough! You're making me miss my Nebraska roots that much more. Thats one of 2 real gripes I have with the Marine Corps,
1) Being away from family so much
2) Never having time to hunt and fish like I used to.

Hawaii is beautiful and I do love it, but it just doesnt have hunting like that...

This photograph is 3 years old now, and was taken at my Mom's house early one morning when my Grandmother was in to visit. Of course it is Grandmom behind the camera...lol, and thus the reason for my cheeser... cuz I just love my Grandmother.

The other woman is my Mom......and all must promise to never tell another soul that I posted this picture here, because if somehow my Mom finds out she'll kill me dead for sure
