Thread: What Do You Look Like ?

This is from the Marine Corps Ball a couple of years ago, the smaller pic is of my whole family on Waikiki Beach about a year after we moved here. Sorry, I hate computers and cant figure out how to resize my photo's so they'll work on here. When I get schooled on how to do it, I'll post some better ones of my family and some more recent ones of me. There arent any good pics of me really... But my hair is shorter now.

Guess I will add my ugly mug. Funny thing, all my photos are with dead animals.

Just a little North. That buck was a monster. Game warden put at 190+ point rack, the beast hung at 240 pounds, I got 170 pounds of meat out of it, it was more like a Montana mule deer than an Ohio white tail. The photo does not do it justice, the masts were so big I could not put my fingers around them, got a better photo somewhere, have to dig it up and post. The Tom was 22 pounds and almost a 12 inch beard, had big spurs as well. I have been doing this for a few years.

Alright you guys, thats enough! You're making me miss my Nebraska roots that much more. Thats one of 2 real gripes I have with the Marine Corps,
1) Being away from family so much
2) Never having time to hunt and fish like I used to.

Hawaii is beautiful and I do love it, but it just doesnt have hunting like that...

I SWEAR!!! Before my wife and I found out the sex of my son. I had this dream that I was in a field and down yonder I saw this massive buck.. (just like the one pictured in your post) and I raised my rifle (remington 700 in .308) and put in down where he stood. I woke up smiling !!!

A few days later we found out that I was having a son!!!! I figured this would translate into a GREAT hunt last year...

Unfortunately the only deer I saw was in my dreams while I snoring out in the field and LOL!!!!! ( the Martell Gordon Bleu helped with the snoring)

Wish me luck for next year.... I'm going to switch it up and try using a winchester lever in .3030 maybe that'll bring out the bucks to play...

Ok, so here's a picture of me. I just put an avatar up today too .. that one is from a nickname I got in electronics tech 'A' school for the Navy. I was the top of my class and they all started calling me Beaker, kind of stuck.
