Thanked: 884Friday Follies
Started out peaceful enough.
Crew FINALLY got their ducks in a row and we got some pavement markings down. Bear in mind this isn't "paint".
It is hot applied thermoplastic. Goes on at around 350°F and becomes one with the pavement under it. ( unless it's on concrete )
My paint cart guy today was Beetlejuice.
It got a bit warm.
Like the honey badger, Beetlejuice doesn't care.

Thanked: 884Traffic got crazy so we dogged off around 1630 hours and I headed for the BIG city.
Ran up on this mess right after it happened.
This was the one that messed up.
this was the one that got hit.
My truck blocking traffic behind it.
Got home in a raging thunderstorm. Rain is welcome but it feels like a sauna outside now.
Cracked a beer at 1930 and called it a day.

Thanked: 8842 out of three went for a ride in the meat wagon. They were all cognizant. The guy that got hit is wearing a purple shirt and sitting the rail in one of the pics.
At least they were in the shade. LOL
We were working about three miles from where that wreck occurred and had shut our deal down about 30 minutes prior to the crash.
