    IMO you should have done this in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and elsewhere, then the British govt would have no Commonwealth to fund and feed her wars. But then again this is why His/Her majesties instituted the Commonwealth, to give the illusion of autonomy, pre empting any further need of revolution among any other colonial settlements. I am not bashing here, I am simply showing historical references.


    To sum it up Americans are rather disrespectful to laws that show the individual no respect. Note the effects of prohibition, the failing war on drugs.
    The British Commonwealth of Nations was founded in 1931. Note the word nations not colonies. Just what wars were you referring to, WWII? I sometimes wonder about Americans grasp of history not directly connected to the US. Canada did not automatically go to war when Britain declared war on Germany 03 Sept. 1939 but had a Parliamentary debate and vote declaring on 10 Sept. 1939. There is a whole wonderful world out there to properly explore not centered on the US.
