What do you think about the new regulations the Mayor of New York is handing down? Do you think the people that voted him in knew what he was going to do?

Limit salt in public restaurant's food?

Limit the size of soft drinks?

Crack down on smoking?

Now he is keeping the hospitals from handing out baby formula until the mother is given a lecture on breast feeding. They have to do this each time she asks for some.

Where will it stop?

Unfortunately never.

I've heard he is going to regulate straight razor shaving ...... dangerous ..... don't know if it is true though .....

It must be true, you just read it on the internet .....

"Straight Razors don't kill people, people kill people" I have 11 straights, but does anyone really need a straight razor, especially more than one? Won't we all be safer when there are no more staright razors in the world and we all must use electric razors or grow beards? One never knows when anyone may go postal and become Sweeney Todd. A person's unblemished record as an upstanding citizen is no guarantee of their future sanity or continued good behavior. I understand that prisons have high murder rates despite very high security being present, the victims there are usually puctured by illegally obtained sharp objects, and that security in communities will never be as high as that found in prisons. However, if it may save even one life, any responsible person with a social conscience should willing give up their straight razors.

So, what do you guys think of fully automatic straight razors, or of shavettes with hundred-blade magazines?

That's only fully automatic straight razors. The Semi autos are fine. I think as long as the razors are less than 45 cal they are OK too. However you can't use those 30 round magazines for your disposable razors. I understand Gillette is asking for an exemption.

Thats all and good but I hear a lot of talk about him wanting to put an irremovable orange plastic cover over the edge such as those you find on modern cap pistols.
