    Don't forget to mention too that his organs may be harvested after execution to supply donor organs to those who can afford to pay for them. And you thought the the Scots had a reputation for being thrifty or is that waste not want not carried to the extreme? I am not making light of a very tragic event but are you seriously suggesting we emulate China? Execution of a convicted murderer I can see but the rest of it that goes along with it.....

    I don't think that is a problem solely confined to the US. I don't trust our police and courts to get it right enough of the time to be totally in favour of capital punishment. In principal yes but in practice no.
