Paired with Guinness, it's just too much snaffling for one man to bare.
It's just corn syrup... Warm, blood flavored, corn syrup ...

    Glady!

    1 can of pickled beets
(leave the beets in or don't, I like it both ways)
1 cup cider vinegar ( you can use white, but cider is a bit sweeter)
    1/3 cup granulated sugar

    6 hard cooked eggs

How long do you let'em set and do you refrigerate them or no ?Also how long do they keep for?

Well, the longer they are in the more the color and flavor gets into the egg. About two weeks is what I like, but my brother prefers a 1 month wait. I always refrigerate, iduno if they would stay in the cabinet or not.

And you will wanna boil the mixture for 10 minutes before adding it to the eggs.

Huzzah!! Returned from the extinct, much like the coelacanth, this thread has come back!! But for how long? I've noticed a trend, in the US, anyway; of an attempt to abolish the can opening device. It's a slippery slope, and once on it; there's no turning back. I have photos below of the killer of the can opening device, along with; my favorite can opening device. I love this tool! Unlike others, it allows for one hand to operate while the other holds the can. I also love to go camping with it, just to watch people get confused trying to figure out how to operate it. Didn't mean to go offtrack from the pickled egg thing, although, I'm inspired now to try to make some, I know someone with a good method, use of dried peppers to give it a kick. Have a great week Ya'all!

Howdy Boys!!! Yesterday I received a big arse can of .9mm ammo!! Thank goodness, it came with a big arse can opener!!! Although I grew up at a time when the Russians were evil and to be feared, I've always liked their go big, or go home attitude!!

I hope you'all are making the best of your weekend!! Don

I'm not a big fan of the 9mm. BUT, i came across a deal on a SIG that I just couldn't pass up. I guy got ahold of some SIG's that were police and military use in West Germany, we got enough people together to buy them and it brought the price down to a heck of a deal. The last ammo I had come in a can was some 7.62 x 54, I had to use a cold chisel to hammer that thing open!!
