    THE RCMP? Bunch of pikers!!

    J/K

I've seen them on the TV and they ain't no slouches.

Never made it out to the BIG STAMPEDE. I imagine it is quite a show and a sight to behold.

No shortage of REAL beer in this state. No shortage of that stuff they drain off the Budweiser horses either.

    Wullie --
I used to have to go play in Dallas. I never had what I would consider a "quality" ale there. Admittedly, my knowledge of Dallas saloons is very limited, and I did most of my drinking in the hotel bar, but I found the selections lacking. No offence meant to my Texan SRP brethren. Besides, the ample numbers of really hot Texan women and great BBQ made up for it!

What can I say. He was an amazing man during a time when the world needed him.

It's out there, but like every other place on the planet, you just have to know where to look.

I did a LOT of drinking in hotel/motel bars when I was in the heavy haul bid'ness as I had to park the huge mess I was dragging at dark. I'd run the wheels off of it to make to a hotel or motel that I KNEW had a bar or I'd set the load down and bobtail the tractor to a place with a bar. I didn't drink a lot of beer in those days. I took the express and either drank Johnny Walker or tequila.

I HATED those damn Kansas "milk" bars where all they could sell was 3.2% beer..... WHAT A WASTE!!!

No more "milk bars"? That is a LARGE improvement for the land of three suns.
