Great... it seems like it's another hate crime, sigh. A neo-Nazi ex-military no less.

Thanked: 3223Well, lets face it there has been a growing ground swell of anti Muslim sentiment in the Christian west since 911 and this is the despicable natural outcome in extreme cases. I would almost bet that in his own mind he was a fervent Christian to boot making it all the more distasteful. I am beginning to be extremely worried about religious extremists of any persuasion and their intolerance of others.

Another terrible event takes a toll on the innocent. At least Police Officers arrived quickly and did not hesitate to do their duty. I wish all the victims and their families the strength to carry on.

Thanked: 884FBI says it is not a hate crime but rather an act of "domestic terrorism".
It absolutely pisses me off that the FED will use an act of hate against such wonderful and gracious people as the Sikhs to further their own agenda.

I understand your anger over the Fed definition of the hate crime Wullie and I respect your feelings absolutely. I think the
current, often changing, definition of "domestic terrorism" fits this nightmare well. The sick individual who commited these these terrible acts did so against American citizens in an effort to rationalize some neo-nazi or white supremist views that he held.
These kinds of event are heart breaking at the very least.Bob

Muslim Taliban, Judaic Taliban, Christian Taliban, they're all bad. Whatever our faith is, we need to focus on the preachings of tolerance in order to avoid getting to such a mindset.
