No, and I'm sorry to say you're going to hear the story...
    And, hopefully, watch the movie...

Eight years ago, when the boys were 13 and 6 we were camping at Deep Creek. Near there, there is a nice beach named Morgan’s beach. On that beach is a mass of small, smooth, washed-by-the-waves pebbles. Walking along the beach, I said to the kids, “On this beach, somewhere, is your pebble. You need to find your pebble”. We spent the next few hours picking up and discarding pebbles, until finally we had chosen ‘our’ pebbles. They all seemed to us to have a distinct character. I liked the fact that mine had a little dimple in it that resembled a belly button. We decided that we needed to keep these little pebbles on us at ALL times. And if one of us pulled a pebble from our pocket and held it up, if one of us didn’t have a pebble, we’d have to do whatever the others said; like make a cup of tea for us, or do the dishes, etc.

Later that evening I was mucking around with a cheap digital camera and took a bunch of photos. I have no idea why. Later, I made a movie of it, with a soundtrack. The movie seems to communicate something, but I’m still not sure what.

I told my son, then aged 13, that when he got married, I’d pull my pebble from my pocket, at the altar, and see if he had his!

Next September, Aaron is getting married, he’s now 21. It’ll be interesting to see the look on his face as the pebble brings back childhood memories in a flood as he stands there at the altar.

There's another couple of completely worthless videos here Video - a set on Flickr and of course a whole bunch of equally worthless photos. Most of the photos were taken with vintage German Medium Format cameras...
