Inaugural Meeting of SRP (North of Scotland Division)
Simon (coully) was over this way yesterday so we met up for a coffee during my lunch break. A thoroughly nice chap and it was good to discuss favourite razors, hones and strops as well as the problem of sawdust all over the kitchen with somebody who doesn't assume you must be a dangerous lunatic.

SRP North Scotland Division
Thanks for the kind words, it was a great oppurtunity for discussion especially as we have friends in common, and the dust thing, definately....its great to be able to talk about our shaving kit without the thought of folks glazing over, you know how it is.
Anyways our neck of the woods isnt so large as some of the states you guys live in...lol, as an hours drive only takes me 60 or so miles from my home.
Cheers,simon

Good to hear lads.
As Founding Member of the Southern Ontario Division which Ilija is keeping up (well done Illy!) as well as the Britih Columbia Division (now experiencing a lull ) I know how nice it can be to make contact with other members.

I plan to do something similar in January of February with SRP, B&B and SMF members. Yeah, a "collage" of shavers!

It IS fun. I've had a visit fomr Pinda a while ago. And apart from the usual straight talk. Many other subjects were discussed and I really enjoyed it.

Moving yes...
Unfortunately not to UTAH although from my own knowledge I believe its a beautiful state.
I have an interview to get my visa for the USA on the 9th of Jan, then its NC, or SC which ever suits as my wife takes the reigns here as she will be the native, not me.
Id still love one day to have a shindig with the boys though...
regards,simon

Simon,
There are a number of wetshavers in that "neck of the woods". My reason for combining a meeting of all 3 forums would be to have a larger turn out, and may even bring a few of the DE guys over. I know a number have made the trip, and probably a few more would do the same.
