    Ray,

I've lost all of my grandparents, and I lost my father. Their passing's were all hard. Somehow my younger brother's passing nearly ten years ago was the hardest of all. In fact brutally hard. A brother is the closest person we have that is like ourselves. Someone who is a part of us and knows us best. Someone that we can connect the past and present with. We expect that our grandparents, and even our parents will pass before we do, but nothing can prepare us for the passing of a brother. Do not hold back, let it all out and grieve hard for your brother.

    Scott

I'm very sorry at the loss of your brother. It is a testament to him that you also considered him your best friend. G_d Speed to you and your family.

My condolences as well. It's always hard to lose the people you care about. Don't worry about venting in the forum. Sometimes, the best thing you can do in times like this is to talk.

Very sorry to hear this. As iz6 said, don't feel bad for venting. Stuff happens. You have my condolences.

I'm sorry for your loss. Life sucks sometimes. I think, for me, it's important to realise bad things will happen to us, but we need to find a balance.

I've found the forum to be a great support group, that what drew me to it last year when my grandson, at four years old, was diagnosed with bone cancer. I got a lot of support from the guys here; it helped me tremendously, I couldn't have got through the last year without my friends here; they were more of a support than those around me most of the time.

    Peace and love to you...

Having lost a brother myself, I truly sympathize. My deepest regrets for the loss of your best friend.
