Personally, I don't care what the polls say and I'll bet both parties in the dispute believe that the fans will return after a while. If they don't then the owners cooked their own goose.

It will be interesting to see what, if any, the long-term effects of this lockout will be.

Sorry about the long wait on a reply, fellas. Just got up after a long night w/Anne when she got home -- she had a rough shift at the hospital.
"Tentative deal"...can mean anything. I've not heard anything about this yet, so I have nothing to add as yet.

I just realized one good thing about the lockout: I didn't have to listen to Mike Milbury! I'll miss that...

Well this might be the best season yet - the players might actually have to play in the regular season vs just the play-offs! Woot - that said... is it too late? I know it is for me!

I am not paying for the package that lets me watch hockey this late in the season - yes, in KS, to get any hockey on your tv, you have to add a package to your cable subscription.

    Can anyone say substitute goods?

Hey the season started anyways. Good to hear.
Although i'm more into soccer, specially Champions League and Bundesliga, my choice for NHL are Anaheim and Minnesota. Go for it, Koivu bros!
