    Who knows... I just bought a new car with a 6yr extended warranty. It might be a bit early for that but you know... it's either an economy booster and just a new car for me or, it's a great way to hedge inflation. I can't see me not needing a car as long as I am in Kansas.

    As a retired INS Agent I will tell you if you are not U.S and are seeking legal employment in the U.S and are having problems you need a good Immigration Attorney. There is an art to completing the Visa petition and making arrangements with a prospective employer which will almost guarantee you employment.

    Thanks bigspendur - We got the best immigration attorney in KC working on it (from what I am told lol). But that is great advice... if not the only advice you can give a guy.

    If you haven't got inflation yer are in trouble but if the ugly head is rising yer are good to go. That's my redneck northern bushwhacker view on inflation.

    Yup, your "redneck" view is 100% right. Stagflation is a bad,bad, thing. Of course, like everything... balance is key as hyperinflation is a bad, bad thing too .

    I think the Fed targets 3%. Truly - high inflation is a tax on the poor.
