    He had what my Dad called "grit". I still get a kick out of that 72 series against CCCP and the comments made by one player about the missing beer that pissed off the Canadian players and how it made an impact on the outcome of the series. lol

    Indeed.
    He is still quite the name up here, a very likeable and down to earth kinda guy from the looks of it.
    And just by looking at him, it is easy to tell he didn't pull no punches
