Thanked: 485I'm always on my toes. It's how I pretend to be close to normal height...
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Nice to see this old thread come back live and well again (not talking about Carls toes).
Here's the lucky shot i took the other night just behind my back yard.
Aurora Borealis over the northern horizon (here they are known as 'campfire of the fox'). Not so bright, i've seen better, but they are not so everynight view here at the southern parts of the country.

I've seen those lights in backyards down here many times,,, that little white light is a man with a flashlight & the lights on the horizon are the responding patrol cars,,, here it is known as "Burglary In Progress"

Ah, the aurora... one of the very best things about living in the north!
They damn near killed me once when I was very tiredly driving across central Manitoba to visit my Grandma many years ago. Say what you want about mobiles and texting being distracting whilst driving, I was so transfixed by the northern lights that I nearly went off the road three times before I pulled over, stopped, got out, and watched them for the better part of an hour. They are always absolutely mesmerizing, and on that night they were absolutely stunning.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
