How Old??
Hi Gang!
Just wondering what the oldest things you have in your possession are. I know that there are real ancient straights out there but I was thinking more along these lines:
I have our family bible that my dad passed along to me that was printed in 1829 in New York. My aunt (dad’s oldest sister) gave me a cook book called The White House Cook Book it was printed in 1887 it was printed in Chicago.
Anyway I was just wondering what some of you might like to share!

Does the family estate in France (pre-Revolution) count? If not, and you mean immediate personal possession, then I'd have to say my blunderbuss.

I have my great great great grandfathers old cowboy hat granted my dad has it right now but I'll acquire it when he passes it to me and I also have a bible from dads father and I never met the man wish I could have though

Great idea for a thread! I think the oldest dated item I have is a 1919 penny. I may have to clean out the garage this weekend and see what else I can find.
