I think I have a broader and more generalized affliction. Shaving Paraphernalia Acquisition Syndrome.

It started with RAD, then moved into SAD (both Soap and Strop), and HAD, but now it is after shaves, and after shave balms/treatments. At least I am entirely satisfied with my Mug at this point...so I do not have to get MAD about it.

It seems to cost a lot too!

It seems to happen to all of us, hope you didn't get into straight shaving to save money.

It absolutely does, I have bought at least 4 in the past month, and haven't bought a soap or cream in atleast 3 or 4. Heck I just ordered the Razorock baby blue aftershave just a few days ago....Cripes, make that 5
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

No, There was no delusion of saving money...I used to shave in the shower with a disposable that I changed out about 2x a year. Not joking! I washed my hair, rinsed, then shaved with whatever water landed on my face.

Looking back it was horrific, but at least I was not using the goo in a can?

My annual shaving cost was probably about 10 bucks?
