    Default Show Us Your Postcard

A little while ago I had an idea about looking out your back door (while listening to Creedence of course).

Tonight, while wondering what to do in regards to the setting for my SOTD photo, I decided to use a postcard.

I'm guessing almost every town or one near you has a postcard. I think it'd be interesting to see yours, along with the shaving gear you used on the day you bought the card...

    What do you think?

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

I've seen postcards, but I've never actually purchased one before.

Post cards can be fun. I usually get them on vacation. One year we were on vacation over Christmas and used them for Christmas cards. I have even sent them to myself when on vacation. A pretty picture and a good memory.

I can't remember ever buying one from my hometown.

Well, I'm rather overwhelmed by the response on this thread, seems this was a really really good idea...

It's actually not a bad idea, I just think postcards are rare anymore. Sadly. V

I kind of cheated and stole this from the interwebs, but since it's about 100 years old, I thought it was cool enough to post.

Next time I'm down in the market I'll see if I can find some truly cheezy new ones.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
