Once native to Europe, these presently sought-after creatures were introduced to the new world accidentally more than 500 years ago. They gradually became more widely seen as early film producers discovered this wildlife's potential:
They have slowly made their way across the western continent.
The image below is of an endangered local herd at a disappearing watering hole in central Oklahoma. As you can see, not much is left of their rudimentary clothing.
Over the years many have attempted to study these creatures; men generally fail but they keep trying. Even the humble plumber has given it a go as seen in this historical painting of a woman's personal habitat from the early 20th century
Attempts to domesticate them have been made
And especially in the recent past, some have trained them to perform tasks designed to improve man's quality of life
But these attempts generally end in failure, as the keen observer can deduce from our subject's natural response below
Ultimately, a better understanding of these unpredictable, often beautiful and even necessary creatures remains just as elusive as the perfect woman. But thankfully, photographers and naturalists have not given up all hope, and continue their journey into the woman's world to bring us the best they can find

This little guy payed me a visit early tonight, but I just could not convince him that he needed to try a straight razor shave.
