Our electorate in this country is clearly right on top of the issues. Unbelievable!

Wasn't it Abe Lincoln who said that line about fooling people? I guess folks were smarter in those days. These days folks have about as much brain matter as a box of rocks.

Kinda reminds me of Jay Leno's "Jaywalking" segment on the Tonight Show (not sure if he still does it), where he asks Americans on the street simple questions about U.S. history, politics and current events. It's pretty bad when a Canadian prairie boy like me knows the answers yet the interviewed Americans don't have a clue about their own country.

God bless ya, Ryan, maybe you should come to America & help teach in our history classes.
    I'd love to have ya.

Reminds me of the old comedy routine of the guy in Africa who learned to speak perfect English just that every 3rd word out of his mouth was followed by some strange noise like a hiss or hum or click. The guy listening to him asked him why he was making all those funny sounds. It turns out he learned English listening to a Short wave Radio and all the interference and noise, this guy thought was part of the English language.

Yup, and this is how we end up with the representation we have in government.
