    Default Leather people...help!

Ok fellas...apologies for bringing this here, but SWMBO is freaking out and I figured someone here would have the info I seek to be a hero.

Dry cleaners apparently ruined the leather trim on her favorite winter coat and then replaced it with leather-ish vinyl. Where could I find rolls of thin, fine navy blue leather so we can fix the coat? Not that it is needed...but here are a couple pictures of the belt that was not ruined...it is pretty dark navy...I figure at least one of this group works in leather and would know where to point me...

    Thanks in advance...

Matching the die lot may be difficult. If you wish to try on your own, Tandy is a good bet to obtain both leather and die. If you want to try and have a professional take a look, here is a link to some in your area. Good luck.

if the dry cleaned ruined it the liability is with them. It should be their job to replace it with the same material or reimburse you for all costs in doing it or buying an identical coat.

Yeah, I tried telling her that...she's pretty non-confrontational and wouldn't let me go back either...I figured finding someone to fix it would be the safest voyage to hero-dom.

Thanks for the input fellas...I definitely don't want to dye it myself, but at least this will gives me some leads.
