How long did it take you to vote?
The television has been running many images of long lines of people standing in the rain etc. For me it was the exact opposite here in Minnesota. From the time I arrived at the door of my polling place and exited the door it was 5 minutes. That was at 4 pm. My total trip from home and stopping for a couple of gallons of milk took less than 1/2 hour.
How long did it take you in your neck of the woods?

Took me 15 minutes here. Had a pretty good crowd for my small town of 5000 people. Went around 4 pm.

I wonder why 4 pm is a slower time? Maybe that is why I have never had to wait very long.
I just spoke with my daughter and she said it was about 1.5 hours for her. Most of which was because she has changed addresses and had to re-register. Actual vote time was about 10 minutes if she would have been preregistered.

Vote by mail, permanent absentee. No lines or creepy polling places.

About 10 minutes, I live on the outskirts of Richmond so not very populated.
From their stillness came their non-action...Doing-nothing was accompanied by the feeling of satisfaction, anxieties and troubles find no place

Thanked: 458about 5 minutes for me, too. There were 4 voting machines where I went. At no time while I was in there was more than one in use at the same time.
