Thread: The New Republic of Texas?

Honestly all the talk of war is just silly,, The states are talking of Fiscal Secession ie: no federal monies in or out...
Closing the borders of the states are also high on the list as is residency requirements...

Two areas that have been said to have the actual ability to do this

And what was the Big 4 now the Big 5 ID, MT, ND, SD, WY, (Combined population of < 5 million and < 2% of the US population) They have huge resources within their borders and land area wise they are all in the top 19 states by size including Alaska which is another state that could do as she wants...

These states can supposedly actually do it..

Trade would not be an issue, nobody was talking about a civil war they are talking about the basis of Law ie: the Constitution and Federal taxation...

Anyway we all know it won't happen... But I do see a push from these States for less federal involvement in the future
