Thanked: 235Those nasty drop bears like to gather around croc infested water too. Forget about the crocs, it is the drop bears you should be looking out for.

Thanked: 235You know those cute cuddely little Koalas? At night the males turn into sex crazed hedonists, and the female Koalas don't appreciate it. At night the males grunt while they are trying to have their way and the females squeel as they are trying to defend themselves. This results in a scary caucophany of screams and grunts coming from the trees at nights.
Not many people would believe that cute cuddely Koalas could be the cause of this, so we tell tourists that the noise is coming from a drop bear.
Essentially a drop bear is an imaginary creature made up to explane the night time noises of Koalas.
By the way, Koalas have big claws. Mike Tyson has good reason to fear them.

Thanked: 983We used to snare the koalas on one of the properties we owned, for the purpose of vet checks and tagging. I can tell you from personal experience, they are not so cute and furry when they are p!ssed off with you. I came very close to being turned into minced meat trying to get one of those demons into the transporting cage.
