The story came from the Sydney Times, the video for it was narrated by an Aussie. I've read or watched the Onion for years, some of the stuff they put out was a bit too much, even for me. The greater portion of it is funny, sometimes, piss yourself funny. They ran a story a bit back about Iran, something about the USA admitting that Iran that was positive for them. The Iranian news picked up on it and ran it as true. I guess some news places are a bit too lazy to check out stuff. I feel sorry for the people of N. Korea, they starve because of the idiots running the place. Kinda like California will someday be.

I had heard about the Nuke the Moon idea years ago. The only thing that surprises me is, they didn't do it!

Oh, OK, I didn't actually watch the video, sorry. I feel sorry for the North Koreans too, I mean the 'normal' people. Eating grass can't be fun. There must be a better way.
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Well there may have been talk about nuking the moon, but they (the British) put into action nuking at Maralinga...Exposing, on purpose, Australian Soldiers and then later replacing the displaced (during testing) Aborigines back on the land. Yes ok, they said they cleaned it up before they moved the Aborigines back, but this was in the '50's when there was little more than contempt held for the natives of this continent. Anyway, that's my rant on the subject...

The same was done here Mick, without Aborigines, but testing on US troops. Many died later in life from cancer and other maladies from radiation exposure. Of course, all was denied and the families were never componsated for their deaths. I'm sure many so called civilised Countries have many dark secrets in dusty books, hidden from the light. Like, our CIA testing the affects of LSD on whino's and hookers in the sixties, and even testing on their own people. Check out the article below, I read it years ago, in a twisted way, it makes sense.

Not to pick on Don, but he neglected to mention the Tuskegee experiments which occurred into the early 1970s. Purely shameful behaviour on the part of gov't.

Now that had me in stitches laughing. When I was a kid, even though I wasn't the smallest around, I would sometimes be hassled by bullies. Never one at a time mind you, always by three or more. I finally discovered that the best way to deal with the problem was, essentially, to become what our Nordic friends would call, a Berserker.
Nothing they threw at me had any effect. I would just laugh it off and attack with everything I had, doing as much damage as possible in the shortest amount of time. Word soon got around that I was not the one to be picked on. I was a crazy son of a bit.. that was likely to tear your head off just because you looked at me wrong.
It was all a ruse and just a use of well controlled fear and anger, but those that did the bullying didn't know that, and that is what I was laughing at in regards to that link. It is twisted, but it would probably work...Up to a point. In the end you get tired of playing the game and spend years on repairing the damage you have done to your own reputation. People never remember the reasons why, they just remember the actions.
