Alberta/BC also have some nice powder but with my luck, I've only been there in July/August. I guess I'll take my bumps and bruises this winter and see about flying out west for the next riding season.

That's the beauty of it, Bill.. Once you start riding, the warm clothes and the exercise keep you extra-warm. I usually bring extra shirts and bandanas b/c I sweat so much.

Believe it or not, I've seen quite a few older guys on the snowboards. They've even got a name for them:
Grays on trays.

My buddy Eric's thinking of hitting QC or North ON this weekend and I'm tempted to say yes if they have a reasonable number of trails open and it's not too warm (above -1C/30F).
