Likes & Thanks
I was going through a thread and a member posted: "Regardless of how many empty Likes you got..."
If they are EMPTY, they why are they even in place... When I click the mouse, it's for a reason...
Your thoughts?Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated...

SO... so far, everyone that has posted said that they do it for a reason... NOT just "because"... ???

I have to admit that I too read that and thought it odd BUT, after a little reflection, I "assume" what the moderator meant to express was that no matter how many likes he got on that post - doesn't make it right.
That's my take on it. And I feel rather odd putting words into anyone's mouth... but in the spirit of answering your question, that's how I took it.
I assume you are not a sheep lol and that yes, you indeed like something when you "like" what was written. I know that is my case. I am with Harrywally - I know I like what I like, and thank when I think it's helpful. But that doesn't mean what I like is something that is in the spirit of the forum...
That's my take anyway.David
