Pondering......

The whole firearm issue reminds me of a big forest fire. As it gets bigger it takes on a life of it's own and even creates it's own meteorological conditions. The more guns there are out there the more problems are created by the very numbers of guns. Most people don't really know how many guns of all kinds are floating around. More guns mean more gun thefts and more gun crime and more ease at getting guns for everyone good and bad.

Some foolishly think if everyone was armed bad guys would just go away out of fear. Terrible folly in that reasoning. Bad guys are bad and they aren't going anywhere. They arm themselves to meet the conditions. If they operate in a world where everyone is armed they just get bigger arms and will be more inclined to shoot first and demand later. Remember, in a situation where you are accosted in the street the bad guy already has his gun trained on you and you are already at a big disadvantage. Maybe in a place like Florida after you give the guy what he wants you can just pull out a gun and shoot him in the back and get away with it but in most places you would probably just be relieved of your gun or worse.

Carl you really need to look at Law Enforcement Stats so you get a much clearer picture...

I tried to explain to you after the Colorado shooting that you were using Anti Gun stats even for England and the the Scotland yard stats didn't show the same thing but you refused to acknowledge that the BBC wasn't really accurate and kept showing the same ones over and over...
In fact your words were that the BBC had to use accurate numbers by Government mandate even though you were shown Law Enforcement numbers to the opposite...

The worst part is that you believe that drivel, heck I don't even look at RKBA numbers let alone NRA numbers I know they are massaged to make a point...

No wonder you think everything is OK if you are looking at the USA law enforcement stats.

Yep I'm a gutless coward for thinking somebody doesn't have the right to do all the idiotic things she was doing. Perhaps she should have been looking where she was going, and not almost run my family down. I would hope If your wife does any of the things this chick was doing you would teach her how to drive.
