Thanked: 1185Yet Another Generation Ruined for Turkey Neck Consumption
So when my kids were both very little, I played a joke on them one Thanksgiving telling them that the turkey neck was...well another appendage of the turkey. Lo and behold it stuck for a long time and they both were convinced that the neck was the turkey's man tackle until they were nearly teenagers. Apparently the turkey neck phobia has been genetically transfered to my grandson. I was getting ready to put the turkey in the oven this morning. I held up the turkey neck and asked him if he knew what part of the turkey it was. Without missing a beat he replied, "Ew! Grandpa that's the turkey's weiner!!!" LOL!
The older I get, the better I was
