Thread: So what did you get for Christmas?

Can't believe nobody asked this yet... Surely many here got something nice and are itching to share?

I'll start with what I didn't get - Rope! My climbing friends thought it's going to be insensitive, in the current situation. But I got nice books, alcohol, and perfumes (Very Sexy by VSecret, my wife's idea ) Still don't know what my family is giving me as a major present, though...

so let's hear...

Landed some Nomad Shave Cream from Crabtree & Evelyn as well as a couple of great theatre books for the bookshelf.

Super Badger shaving brush from C+E (the really large one!), Shaving soap from C+E (and balm), Proraso and a new Merkur DE razor.

Oh, and a monogrammed scuttle

Tony Miller 4 sided paddle strop. 3 leather, 1 balsa. 1 leather prepasted with 1 micron diamond paste.

Gift to myself.. .5 micron Chromium Oxide from HandAmerican.

ha, didn't know X is a theatre buff!

I used to go fairly often and one of my friends from BG was invited to teach theatre directing in Germany and here in UCLA... in Orlando, not that much really to see at least we get decent orchestras

I got 2 books on quantum physics (for non-scientists). And one with photos of wild performances that changed the world... my Mexican friend saw a raving crowd on the cover and thought that's for me

And Josh, you don't say - you got a razor??? By the way, for what do you do you use the mitts? They are very cool

I also got quite a few things related to shaving, if I count what I gave myself - TIs, Belgian natural, Escher, Plisson, gonna get the B&B Finest... too bad I cannot shave right now
