    Default Big-ass Snowball

So you know all that snow we got in Colorado?

    (in a Crocodile Dundee voice)

    That's not a snowball...

    Now THAT'S a snowball!

We made a snowball that big when I was a kid once after a blizzard. Fun!

I wish we'd get that kind of snow here. The children would love it and we could do snow sculptors. We haven't had a snow that could handle snow sculptors for quite a while.

    You're a lucky man .

A couple of decades ago, in Serbia, we made an igloo in the front yard of our country house. No tools but we did divvy up the labor into snow extraction, building block preparation, assembly (including packing with additional snow) and QC. Ended up good enough to sleep in (sleep-tested)

Heres a photo a buddy of mine sent from the town of North Pole, Alaska. The second image is why he lives up there - 33" 17lb lake trout.

I think it's going to snow all weekend, maybe another snowball will be warranted.

We had a major unloading of icy rain mixed with snow. Bad for snowboarding, impossible to remove (other than by using a metal scraper and still make it a 3-day project for our driveway), but on a good note, it makes a great exercise
