warning
Hey guys,
This is a warning that is relevant to us as we do a lot of sending and receiving through the mail and such. This is the new scam
While waiting for something from Switzerland,I got a strange message from Fed-Ex,saying that they tried to deliver a package, and couldn't so it was waiting for me at the post office, and to click on the link for the package number, this sounded strange to me ,so I asked the mailman and called Fed-Ex,the mailman never heard of such a thing, and Fed-Ex said it was a new scam and NOT to click on the link. I thought I would just pass this on to the rest of you just in case you get one of these, I've gotten three so far,so be aware.

I got the same email not that long ago, but thankfully I wasn't expecting a package so thought it was fishy right away. Plus it was sent from a weird email address.

+1. I deleted mine immediately. Reminds me of the guy who called me on the phone and congratulated me for winning a million $ and a new car. Told me he wanted to make arrangements for me to receive the $ and the car ...... I said "Oh yeah, what is my name?" There was silence for a few seconds and he hung up.

Thanked: 2591Recently I got an email confirmation of shipping of some items, but it was not clear who the sender was.
This was a fedex tracking number so, I promptly went to FedEx tracking site and manually entered the number to find out I had ordered something and had forgotten about it.
M point is unless I know who is sending me the tracking info, I always type the tracking numbers on the corresponding carrier tracking site, just to be safe.Stefan
