    This is what happens when you combine art and tools. The sum is so much more than than the two halves. Just an incredible example of practical art.

    Remarkable. Never saw anything like it. Obviously made a century or two ago. If you could find the craftsman able to do it what would it cost in today's $ ?

    very few craftsman that could even dream of doing that today jimmy let along use the hand tools and put the time into it like the fine gentleman that made this fine piece of work

    It's the Sistine Chapel of desks. Not something that was done in a hurry. I am working on one like that. I have a drawer done. Okay the bottom of a drawer. Okay I'm lying. I can't even conceive having the time to do something like that let alone the place.
