Thanked: 56IMO Internet explorer is the best browser. Is that what I voted for ... NO!!!
I use Firefox every day because I prefer the way it works, I prefer the ease of use and the speed.
Does Firefox crash a lot ... you bet your ass it does lol.
IE is more stable, Firefox is just down with the kids?
They all have their uses IMO/

Running Firefox 19.0.2 in Win 7 Proff, i7 2600, 24 GB ram, never had a crash with Firefox!
Like the addons for it and have set it to be minimalistic.Hur Svenska stålet biter kom låt oss pröfva på.

Thanked: 1371Yeah, but Mozilla has made it pretty clear that Firefox is virtually unsupported for 64 bit Windows systems. The only reason they left the development version available is because so many people complained when they stopped putting the updates out.
It's fair to say IE is more stable on a 64 bit Windows system, because Mozilla isn't currently pursuing development of their product for Win-64.
To translate that to IE being more stable across the board isn't really fair. It would be like me saying that IE is inferior because it's unstable on my Linux systems.Last edited by HNSB; 03-27-2013 at 10:01 PM.

Thanked: 56It really does depend on what you value in a browser.
I am currently using Waterfox because it's for 64 bit systems, so far so good.
I don't think comparing firefox to IE is like comparing it's stability on a linux system, since it's owned by microsoft and all.
To clarify ... I love firefox, I am just disappointed with it's stability of late. I do work my browsers fairly hard, I have up to 30 tabs open and jump between them frequently (studying/razors lol).

Thanked: 1587I use wget.
If I am feeling lazy or just want a more 'Microsoft' experience I'll dumb down and use something like lynx.

Thanked: 2No question Chrome is the best these days. But i love Firefox, it was the first browser that showed the a world outside the vicious IE. Going by the last sentence, you can guess what i think about IE.
So FF for me is best. Especially if you are into software development, FF is the way to go.

Opera for me. Fast, small, safe, stable. No problems whatsoever, I love it.
