Firefox, Chrome ? Other ? Which browser do you think is best ?
I thankfully switched from internet explorer to Mozilla FIrefox shorly after it became available and have been very happy with it. Along comes this google chrome and I'm curious about it. Did some reading on the net but I'm not ready to change on my PC.
My droid razr just had a large update and it is asking if I want to continue with the existing browser or go with google chrome. So I'm posting this to maybe hear if anyone has any positive or negatives to share on the chrome browser, or any other they may be using.

I use both and of the two I feel that chrome is a bit faster. However if your a big fan of add on 's then you can't beat Mozilla

I like chrome. I not sure if it really is any faster, but it feels like it may be. I also like its cleaner appearance, though visual changes always take some time to get used to.

IE 9 is pretty good imo.
Good enough that I can't be bothered to switch to something else.
A browser is like a car imo. If it does what it is supposed to do without too much hassle, I don't really care about which one I use.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

I tend to use Safari the most, but have been using Chrome quite a bit too.
Firefox is too slow to start, and the appearance out of the box is not very pleasing...Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

I have been using Chrome for ages now. I too like the clean look and feel of it. The one drawback (which can also be a positive) is that every tab and every extension runs as its own process. That's good as one tab or extension crashing won't kill the entire session, but it can be a bit of a resource hog if you like to have lots of tabs open.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Thanked: 3228The fella that built my PC recommended Firefox and have been using it for years now with no problems. Don't know a thing about PCs and don't like to learn new systems so I stick with it if it works.

Thanked: 2591a year or so ago when Firefox got some speed issues, I switched to Chrome and like it a lot.
The only thing I find crappy about it is as mentioned above, it runs each tab as separate process, one crashes needs full chrome restart.
Firefox now is much improved it seems and runs fast, but I am working Chrome 99% of the time and Firefox when needed only(certain things do not load well on chrome)Stefan
