Thanked: 1371Yeah, but Mozilla has made it pretty clear that Firefox is virtually unsupported for 64 bit Windows systems. The only reason they left the development version available is because so many people complained when they stopped putting the updates out.
It's fair to say IE is more stable on a 64 bit Windows system, because Mozilla isn't currently pursuing development of their product for Win-64.
To translate that to IE being more stable across the board isn't really fair. It would be like me saying that IE is inferior because it's unstable on my Linux systems.Last edited by HNSB; 03-27-2013 at 10:01 PM.

Thanked: 56It really does depend on what you value in a browser.
I am currently using Waterfox because it's for 64 bit systems, so far so good.
I don't think comparing firefox to IE is like comparing it's stability on a linux system, since it's owned by microsoft and all.
To clarify ... I love firefox, I am just disappointed with it's stability of late. I do work my browsers fairly hard, I have up to 30 tabs open and jump between them frequently (studying/razors lol).
