Don't let Jimmy's avatar fool you; he's a nice guy with a big heart.

Thanked: 1587Second what, exactly?
I've known Jimmy for a fairly long time now, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that he's a person I would happily and proudly call a friend. He's a thoughtful, considerate, intelligent, helpful, genuine person who takes his role seriously and understands what "moderation" means. I've never seen a cross word pass his lips. He always takes a balanced view and always keeps the best interests of the forum in the forefront of his thoughts and actions.
I think perhaps some of you guys don't fully appreciate how lucky you have it here with the moderators - they always act with the best interests of the forum as their central premise. They always consider their actions and never shoot from the hip. They have a tough job to do, and in my opinion they do it very well indeed.

I kind of wish that I had the ability to close this thread...it's gotten kind of silly. I know that I'm partly to blame for joining in...maybe that's why I'd just rather it closed/deleted. If a MOD wants to, feel free. I'm the OP and you have my blessing....

I do pay attention to the badges, but I also pay attention to members overall posts.
I have gained a great respect for many here,
in reading through the archives there are more than handful of people I wish were still active or more active.
Regardless I thank the moderators and members of this community badges or no badges for making it what it is.
